There have been many instances during my travels that I wished I had kept a travel diary that I would update every other day and write about every adventure, but I never think about that when I’m away. I focus on the adventure at hand, experiencing the culture, going exploring or planning the next shot.
I don’t know how well keeping a diary and actually writing in it every day would go for me, as I barely post to social media or Instagram. I honestly don’t know how people manage to post as much as they do when traveling. I just find it distracting. Not to mention creating and editing videos. Maybe sometime in the future, but for now this is just a hobby and I really like to dive into the place I’m currently visiting.
I do take lots of pictures of everything I find interesting, however, and those have served as a memory refreshment. But…I always felt like something more is needed.
So this series of articles will be about adventures trying to get amazing photographs. We’ll talk about the places we visit, what we set out to do, what we encountered, how that plan we had didn’t work but how we managed to get another great shot instead. Or how we spent the entire day inside because the weather sucked. Yeah, it happens too often. We’ll talk about the story behind the prints you can find in the Arkadiant Store, and so on.
First stop…Lofoten.
